A London Dry Gin doesn't mean it's made in London - it means no artificial flavor, sugar or color whatsoever has been added after distillation. So, it's a gin characterized by high quality and good craftsmanship. You could say it's honest - and that's exactly what it is: You can taste that this is North Jutland craftsmanship!

The idea behind London Dry Gin

What makes a London Dry gin special is that all the flavor must come from the botanicals added during distillation.

To carry the label, no flavorings, colorings, or anything else can be added. And the sugar content must not exceed 0.1 grams per liter.

It is London Dry Gin that gives the unadulterated taste of juniper with a hint of citrus. And it's the type of gin most people get to know first. Get to know our London Dry Gin and most likely you’ll stick to that!

Herbie Expot Gin is distilled with:

enebær

Juniper is the most important botanical in a gin. However we have played and adjusted it down a bit, so the Nordic botanicals are more visible.

æble

Fresh apples is a Danish thing. We love apples and the fresh, juice taste deliver great food from Summer to Vinter. The taste of apples is important in Herbie.

kamille

Chamomile flowers grows wild in nature in Denmark and flowering takes place in July to September. It has a characteristic aromatic but mild taste and adds a Nordic twist to our gin.

Black pepper gives a delicious deep taste. The pepper helps to lift all the other botanicals - just as a good pepper in cooking can lift the whole dish.
