What is pink gin?

As well as the classic botanicals, we've distilled with raspberries and cranberries. It doesn't just give you the great color - it gives you a palette of flavors that goes way beyond the raspberry and cranberry flavors.

The interplay - or chemistry if you will - between the bold bitter notes of the juniper and the sweetness of the raspberry is pure magic. The same wondrous and savory magic as when you mix chocolate with chili or bacon.

How is pink gin used?

Exactly how it suits your taste! But if you need a tip, we can reveal that the magic of our pink gin is lifted even further when mixed with tonic. If you're going to really indulge, a Clover Club is a cocktail that will impress not only you but everyone you serve it to.

Herbie Pink Gin is distilled with:

enebær

Juniper is the main botanical in gin. We use the best we can find. The juniper bush grows typically in sandy soil and stands beautiful throughout the winter.

hindbær

Raspberry is a bright red berry that grows wild in Denmark. Both delicate and prominent in fragrance and taste – a perfekt choice for a pink summer gin. If you just can’t get enough, try to use fresh or frozen raspberries as a garnish to your Herbie Gin Pink G&T.

tranebær

Cranberries are low, creeping shrubs or vines up to 2 meters in height that grows wild in Denmark. The fruit is a berry that it is initially light green, turning red when ripe. We use it in Herbie Gin Pink because it adds a bitter, yet fruity note that works well with juniper.

æble

Fresh apples provides a perfect balance of sweet and sour fruitiness. And what could be more Danish than apples? Inspired by the Danish summer we chose apples as one of the dominating botanicals in Herbie Gin Pink.
